Abstract

This study investigated blood group antigens and antibody among Tai Dam ethnic blood donors using standard tube test and indirect antiglobulin phase in 70 samples. Le^b antigen presented in significantly high frequency (52.9%), which may lead to inappropriate blood transfusions and underscores the need for an effective screening test.
