Abstract
Hepatocellular carcinoma is the most common cancer and first leading cause of death in Thailand. The standard treatments are liver transplantation, liver resection or local ablative therapy or percutaneous ethanol injection (PEI) for early stage disease. Transarterial chemoembolization is the treatment for locally advanced stage and advanced disease could be treated with combined therapy. In present, radiotherapy techniques are rapidly development and increasingly used for hepatocellular carcinoma treatment. This article summarized roles of radiotherapy in hepatocellular carcinoma.
